Another Adam Sandler movie, this one recommended to me. I hadn't heard of it. The basic premise is that a cobbler discovers an unusual stitcher in his basement and from there has an adventure. It's an off kilter movie. It's part whimsey, part drama, part funny. I will say it wasn't laugh out loud funny as you might expect from Sandler. I really like when comedians take a step away from the totally ridiculous. I can't say a whole lot about the movie without ruining the twist and it was a cool one. The genre on Netflix calls it Science Fiction/Fantasy. As you start it, you'll wonder what the heck they mean. Give it a chance. You'll be glad you did.
Anyway, this is a short review because too much talk will give it away. Rating 4 out of 5
